Brienne & Steve Tie the Knot

Brienne and Steve are such a sweet couple and it was my pleasure to help them out on their wedding day. These two rocket scientists (literally!) tied the knot this past September at the gorgeous Woodend Sanctuary - one of my favorite DC area sites. Brienne did such a great job with the details, and this event goes to show that you can never have too many candles! It looked so beautiful under the tent.

Sarah & Jack... Gorgeous Professional Pics

As the year begins to wind down, it's hard to not think about all of the incredible events that I've been part of in 2008. Back in March, I started my '08 season off with a stunner of an event, and got to work with one of my all-time favorite photographer/videographers - Barnaby Draper.

Barnaby was there for my very first wedding back in 2005 and ever since that incredible experience with Andrew & Eunhee has held a special place with me. I'm looking forward to seeing him and his team again in just a week for Emma and Ben's blowout!

I already blogged about this event once (Sarah & Jack) with some fantastic pictures taken by my own team, but here are long-awaited professional pictures from Sarah & Jack's stunning event at Dahlgren Chapel and the Andrew Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC. Enjoy!

Kristi & Josh.... These Two Know How to Party!!!

In June, I had the pleasure to be IN a wedding! My good friends Kristi and Josh got hitched and not only invited me to be a bridesmaid, but also my colleague Alison to be their day-of coordinator.

Josh and Kristi hosted about 180 of their close friends and family in Bluemont, VA at Whitehall Manor (one of my favorites!) for an energy packed evening of dinner, drinks and dancing. Kristi put so much thought into all of her creative touches - from "bling" in the flowers, on the cake and on the girls to personalized wine favors to a Redskins themed groom's cake. The colors were a magenta and purple and even the mothers were coordinated with the event - with the mother of the groom wearing the exact purple in the bridesmaid's sash, and the mother of the bride wearing the exact magenta of all of the accents.

Now, being that these are two of my friends, you can't be too surprised that they know how to party!! :) We had a blast the entire weekend celebrating with the couple.
